Automation Specialist

A leading organisation in the financial services sector is seeking a Senior Low-Code Automation Specialist to design, build, and deploy production-grade business automation solutions. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone with strong low-code platform skills and experience working closely with operations or business teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable low-code applications
• Design and implement robust automation solutions to streamline business operations
• Own full solution lifecycle from analysis and build through to testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Contribute to platform governance and champion best practices in automation delivery
• Work closely with IT and business units to integrate automations across existing processes
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior automation specialists

Experience Required

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in low-code solution development or process automation
• Proven track record delivering production-grade internal tooling or business applications
• Comfortable with hands-on delivery and stakeholder engagement
• Background in operations, business systems, or internal support functions

Desirable Skills

• Experience with low-code platforms such as Power Platform, OutSystems, Appian, or Mendix
• Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism) or scripting tools used in automation
• Understanding of business process analysis or continuous improvement frameworks
• Previous exposure to financial services or regulated environments

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred
