A large, established professional services organisation is strengthening its Financial Services advisory capability in Ireland and is seeking a senior technology risk leader to join a growing practice focused on technology-enabled risk, resilience, and governance.


This role suits an experienced consulting leader who enjoys shaping services, leading complex client work, and developing high-performing teams in a regulated financial services environment.


Role Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level leadership and subject-matter expertise across areas such as:

    • Technology & Operational Risk

    • Resilience and Continuity frameworks

    • Cyber and Digital Risk Governance

    • Third-Party and Outsourcing Risk

    • Data, AI, and emerging technology risk

    • Technology audit and assurance support

  • Lead delivery of large, complex client engagements from initiation through to completion

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Financial Services

  • Contribute to business development activities including proposals, pursuits, and market-facing insights

  • Develop, coach, and retain consulting talent

  • Ensure strong governance, quality control, and risk management across all assignments

  • Collaborate with wider national and international teams to support service growth


Experience & Background

Essential:

  • 8+ Years in a similar role
  • Senior leadership experience within technology risk, cyber, resilience, or related advisory disciplines

  • Extensive consulting experience within Financial Services

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and risk environments affecting FS organisations

  • Relevant third-level qualification in technology or a related discipline

Advantageous:

  • Experience within a large consulting or professional services firm

  • Exposure to regulatory topics such as operational resilience, outsourcing, digital risk, or technology governance

  • Background across banking, insurance, asset management, payments, or capital markets

  • Knowledge of recognised risk, governance, and control frameworks

  • Professional certifications in technology, security, or risk disciplines
