Senior Full Stack Developer
Job Description:
One of Ireland’s leading trading firms is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Python Developer with strong database expertise. This is a permanent position offering one of the top salary packages in Ireland. They will also pay relocation packages for Senior candidates looking to relocate from overseas in the EU.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimise, and maintain high-performance Python applications.
- Design and implement robust database solutions to support trading operations.
- Work closely with quantitative analysts and traders to develop trading strategies.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency.
- Implement best practices for software development, including testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Desirable Skills
- Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Docker and containerized environments.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices or infrastructure as code.
- Testing frameworks: Pytest, Jest, Cypress, etc.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
