Job Description:

One of Ireland’s leading trading firms is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Python Developer with strong database expertise. This is a permanent position offering one of the top salary packages in Ireland. They will also pay relocation packages for Senior candidates looking to relocate from overseas in the EU.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimise, and maintain high-performance Python applications.
• Design and implement robust database solutions to support trading operations.
• Work closely with quantitative analysts and traders to develop trading strategies.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency.
• Implement best practices for software development, including testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

Desirable Skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices or infrastructure as code.
• Testing frameworks: Pytest, Jest, Cypress, etc.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
