Head of Information Technology

Our Dublin based client is looking for a Head of IT to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs, define technology roadmaps, and lead the delivery of IT solutions that foster business growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT Strategy: Partner with other IT leaders to develop and implement strategies that enhance operations
• Manage Technology Projects: Lead high-impact IT projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Drive Innovation & Improvements: Continuously seek opportunities for technology enhancements to boost efficiency and scalability across all platforms.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and resources
• Technology Leadership: Guide evaluations of emerging technologies, set clear IT goals, and direct the IT team towards achieving those objectives.

Essential Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience across multiple technology disciplines, with a proven track record of successfully delivering innovative IT projects.
• Business & Technical Expertise: A strong ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions, while managing budgets and ensuring proper maintenance.
• Experience in retail and/or wholesale environments.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
