IAM Engineer

Our client, a public sector industry organisation based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Microsoft Endpoint & Identity Engineer to support modern workplace and endpoint management initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This contract role will focus on Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity services, and modern deployment technologies including Windows Autopilot and Windows Hello for Business.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and optimisation of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
• Design and support of endpoint enrolment and device lifecycle management processes
• Deployment and support of:
• Windows Autopilot
• Windows Hello for Business
• Management of device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments
• Integration and administration of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) services
• Support of identity and access management controls including Conditional Access and device-based access policies
• Troubleshooting endpoint management, enrolment, and policy-related issues
• Support modern workplace transformation and security improvement initiatives
• Production of technical documentation and operational procedures
• Collaboration with internal IT teams and knowledge transfer activities

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft infrastructure, endpoint management, or modern workplace engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Experience managing endpoint compliance, device policies, and application deployments
• Strong troubleshooting capability across endpoint and identity technologies
• Experience supporting enterprise Windows environments

Desirable Experience

• End-to-end Autopilot deployment experience
• Experience implementing Windows Hello for Business
• Knowledge of identity governance and access management principles
• Experience delivering endpoint modernisation or transformation projects
• Familiarity with security-focused device management practices
