Job Description - 12 month daily rate role

Job Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
• Define project scopes, create comprehensive plans, and manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
• Provide clear and regular updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, and governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure delivery through feedback loops and performance metrics.
• Oversee vendor performance, ensuring contract and SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for software deployments and operational needs.
• Maintain audit and compliance documentation throughout project execution.

Experience Required

• Strong background in IT infrastructure project management using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex infrastructure projects in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in areas such as cloud infrastructure, networking, data centres, security, and IT operations.
• Proven experience working with offshore teams and managing large-scale technical environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across various organisational levels.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in high-governance and regulated industries, particularly financial services.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with vendor and service management processes and tools.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
