My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Junior Business Analyst to support an on -going transformation project. This is a fixed term contract on a hybrid model that will run to the end of the year. The Junior Business Analyst (Finance) to contribute to a major enterprise-level technology transformation project. This role offers valuable experience working across the full project lifecycle in a dynamic and evolving environment.

You will be engaged in workshops, assist with the creation and validation of test scenarios, and support data migration and system testing efforts. This cross-functional position involves close collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and SAP experts to ensure seamless integration and delivery of project goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Involvement

  • Participate in project workshops to gather requirements and understand business processes.
  • Support the definition and execution of end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Engage in system integration and functional acceptance testing.
  • Assist with data migration activities related to financial processes and systems.
  • Contribute to sprint demonstrations and documentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work alongside application specialists to manage cross-application processes.
  • Coordinate with implementation partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain project alignment and resolve issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a technology, ERP, or financial systems environment.
  • Solid understanding of Financial Accounting and Management Accounting principles.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC6.0 or SAP Central Finance is an added advantage.

Additional Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
