As an IT Product Owner, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver digital solutions that enhance business performance and efficiency. You will partner closely with Finance, HR, and technology teams to ensure that systems remain robust, secure, and future-ready. You’ll bring external insight, challenge the status quo, and mentor your team and partners to deliver exceptional outcomes.

This role sits within the Corporate Systems IT function, which manages enterprise-wide platforms that support Finance and HR across all business units. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, offering continuous opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Business and Technical Analysts.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
  • Identify and onboard new technology vendors and delivery partners.
  • Oversee service delivery and quality assurance to maintain operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact projects.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, including upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Plan and track budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
  • Deliver projects from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Facilitate the smooth transition of projects into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimization within the IT and business teams.
  • Manage delivery timelines and resource planning in collaboration with demand and capacity analysts.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in product ownership and/or business analysis (minimum 5 years).
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT project or program delivery.
  • Strong experience with innovation, digital transformation, and roadmap development.
  • Budget ownership and financial planning experience.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience gathering, validating, and translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Strong vendor management and third-party partnership experience.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA, and information security.
  • A track record of successfully launching or enhancing digital products or enterprise systems.
