We are seeking an experienced Strategic Portfolio Lead to provide end-to-end oversight of a portfolio of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

This is a senior integration and governance role rather than a hands-on project delivery position. You will not manage individual projects directly. Instead, you will maintain a clear, independent view across the full portfolio — ensuring initiatives are aligned to strategy, properly sequenced, effectively governed and collectively delivering measurable business outcomes.

Operating at the centre of a complex transformation agenda, you will work closely with Executive sponsors and senior leadership to bring structure, transparency and pace to delivery.


The Role

You will act as the portfolio integrator across multiple workstreams, ensuring that strategic initiatives operate as one coherent change agenda rather than disconnected programmes.

This role requires strong judgement, commercial awareness and the confidence to operate at Executive level, providing a trusted and objective perspective on progress, risk and value delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide enterprise-level oversight of a portfolio of strategic initiatives
  • Ensure initiatives are aligned to strategic priorities and defined outcomes
  • Maintain visibility of interdependencies, sequencing, risks and resource constraints
  • Identify emerging delivery risks early and drive appropriate escalation
  • Track benefits realisation and overall value delivery across the portfolio
  • Provide clear, forward-looking reporting to Executive leadership
  • Present structured options and recommendations where trade-offs are required
  • Strengthen governance discipline and ensure decision forums are outcome-focused
  • Act as a neutral integrator across functions, balancing competing priorities

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience overseeing complex, multi-stream enterprise transformation
  • Comfortable operating across programmes without direct line authority
  • Credible and confident engaging at Executive level
  • Strong systems thinker with the ability to anticipate cross-functional impacts
  • Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and constructively challenging where needed
  • Commercially minded, outcome-focused and pragmatic
  • Structured and composed in high-visibility, fast-paced environments
