We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager with a strong track record in managing complex service transitions between external suppliers. The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumenstakeholder management expertise, and end-to-end programme delivery skills to ensure seamless migration of services and people between vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Migration Leadership
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of service and people migration from one supplier to another.
  • Develop and manage detailed transition plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and interdependencies, proactively mitigating issues.
  • Commercial & Supplier Management
  • Lead negotiations with external suppliers, ensuring fair and competitive pricing through effective use of price books and benchmarking.
  • Drive commercial discussions on work packages, service levels, and pricing models.
  • Maintain strong, balanced relationships with competing external parties.
  • Programme & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the central point of contact for all migration-related activities.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, internal teams, and third parties to align on objectives and delivery.
  • Track progress, report on milestones, and ensure programme goals are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale service migrations between suppliers.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of handling competing external parties with diplomacy and authority.
  • Programme management proficiency, including planning, risk management, governance, and reporting.
  • Experience working in complex environments with multiple moving parts, people transitions, and service-level commitments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Desirable

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP.
  • Prior experience in regulated industries or environments with high service-dependency.
  • Knowledge of TUPE or similar people transfer processes.
