Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join a well-established organisation within the financial services sector. This position will support the delivery of key technology and digital initiatives within a cross-functional environment. The role combines Agile Project Management and Scrum Master responsibilities, with a strong focus on delivery oversight, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Support the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives and sprint commitments.
• Identify and remove blockers while proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies.
• Monitor delivery progress through Agile metrics, backlog tracking and forecasting.
• Provide clear and structured reporting to stakeholders and PMO.
• Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support release planning, governance, budget tracking and delivery reporting.
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the team.

Skills & Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience within IT delivery, including 1–3 years in an Agile environment.
• Practical experience working within Scrum and/or Kanban teams.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Good understanding of software delivery, system architecture and Agile practices.
• Experience supporting delivery planning and reporting activities.

Experience within financial services, Scrum Master certification, exposure to Azure/cloud environments, or project/programme management certification would be advantageous.
