We are urgently seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the final phase of a high-impact mortgage remediation programme for a major financial services client. This is a client-facing role that requires a seasoned delivery professional with strong governance, stakeholder management, and regulatory programme experience.
You will be responsible for closing out the delivery of a large-scale remediation programme, ensuring all commitments are met with the highest standard of quality, compliance, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex mortgage remediation programme across multiple business units and third-party stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, ensuring effective and transparent communication on status, risks, and milestones.
- Own the governance framework, driving adherence to compliance, audit, and programme control standards.
- Coordinate with external consulting and audit partners to ensure delivery aligns with regulatory and contractual expectations.
- Manage cross-functional delivery teams, resolve blockers, and keep the programme on track for successful closeout.
Ideal Candidate
Experience & Background
- Proven experience delivering complex programmes in regulated financial services environments (preferably banking).
- Strong expertise in mortgage operations and remediation programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and manage senior stakeholders in high-pressure environments.
- Experience working with consulting or assurance firms in parallel delivery programmes is an advantage.
