SAP FICO Consultant

My client is recruiting for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join an ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation project on rolling daily rate contract. This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial and controlling modules, with proven experience in delivering solutions in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end SAP FICO expertise for the ongoing SAP S/4HANA project.
• Analyze business processes and requirements, designing and implementing SAP FICO solutions to meet organizational goals.
• Configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO modules with other systems.
• Identify and resolve system issues, providing post-go-live support and continuous process improvements.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver training, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Work on data migration strategies and execution for SAP FICO-related master and transactional data.
• Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide financial insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams to create functional specifications for custom developments.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in SAP FICO configurations.
• Document system configurations, business processes, and user guidelines.
• Provide guidance on best practices and roadmap planning for SAP FICO within the S/4HANA framework.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.
• Proficiency in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling configurations.
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and cleansing processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to create functional specifications for ABAP developments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Essential and Desirable Skills

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant

Educational Requirements

• Relevant SAP certification is a plus.
