Senior BI Developer

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join an established analytics team within a leading organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape enterprise reporting and self-service analytics — designing data solutions that drive insight, efficiency, and informed decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimise Power BI semantic models for enterprise reporting.
• Enhance performance through efficient DAX, model tuning, and dataset optimisation.
• Implement deployment and refresh strategies aligned with best practice.
• Manage and optimise Power BI Service — including workspaces, dataflows, governance, and usage monitoring.
• Integrate Power BI with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) to improve automation and interactivity.
• Create impactful, user-friendly dashboards and reports that clearly communicate business insights.
• Develop and maintain paginated reports where required (Power BI Report Builder / SSRS experience an advantage).
• Champion Power BI adoption, mentor colleagues, and promote best practices across the organisation.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and value-driven solutions.

About You:

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (including embedded solutions).
• 7+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence development, with strong Power BI project delivery.
• Experience working within a cloud data environment (e.g., Azure, Snowflake).
• Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
• A true Power BI champion, passionate about enabling a data-driven culture.
