Senior Business Analyst

Our leading Financial Services client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Dublin. This is a daily rate contract role offering excellent daily rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis Delivery: Provide full-lifecycle business analysis support—capturing requirements, defining business needs, and supporting solution design through to implementation and evaluation.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Requirements Engineering: Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, workflows, and/or technical specifications that support development and testing teams.
• Project Methodologies: Deliver analysis within multiple project management methodologies including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure mutual understanding and alignment on solution requirements and objectives.
• Change & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid environments.
• Requirements elicitation techniques (workshops, interviews, surveys)
• Business process modelling (e.g., BPMN)
• Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Visio

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
