Snowflake Intelligence Analyst - 6-Month Daily Rate Contract

Job Description:

Our client, a leading organisation operating within the data and analytics space, is seeking a Snowflake Intelligence Analyst to design and optimise data solutions that enable natural language querying and AI-driven insights across the business.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, configure and optimise Snowflake data structures, including tables, views and data models, to support AI-enabled querying and analytics.
• Define, structure and document business metrics, calculations and filters to ensure clarity, consistency and usability within AI-driven solutions.
• Develop, review and maintain high-quality SQL code supporting reporting, analytics and intelligent data services.
• Validate and refine AI-generated queries and outputs, ensuring alignment with defined business logic and data standards.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models and AI-ready configurations.
• Monitor data quality, query performance and user feedback, implementing continuous improvements to enhance insight accuracy and coverage.
• Contribute to best practice standards across analytics, modelling and AI-enabled data consumption.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a data analytics, business intelligence or data engineering role.
• Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience in Snowflake or a comparable cloud-based data platform.
• Proven experience in data modelling and supporting analytical reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated experience working closely with business users to define metrics and reporting logic.
• Experience in either:
• Snowflake Intelligence, natural language-to-SQL tools or AI-driven data agents, or
• Applying AI / machine learning concepts within analytics or data-focused products.

Educational Requirements

• Third level degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
