Software Developer (Contract) – C#/.NET, Azure | 6 Months | Hybrid – Dublin City Centre
A prominent financial services organisation is seeking an accomplished Software Developer to join their Digital & Technology team on a 6-month day-rate contract. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration based in Dublin 1.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful digital transformation initiatives, developing secure and scalable solutions that enhance both customer and advisor journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality digital solutions across web applications and backend services.
- Build and maintain secure, efficient RESTful APIs and support third-party service integrations.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA, and business stakeholders in an agile environment.
- Participate in technical planning, peer reviews, and solution design workshops.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.
- Engage with internal teams and external vendors to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in software development using C# and .NET Core.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Functions, App Services, and Storage.
- Experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and database performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to React.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps within Azure environments.
- Knowledge of Azure AD B2C or comparable identity management frameworks.
