We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a large-scale digital transformation programme. This role is critical to ensuring that all solution designs are aligned with enterprise architecture principles, strategic business objectives, and best-in-class cloud practices. As a key design authority, the Solution Architect will provide technical oversight, governance, and leadership across multiple workstreams, with a strong focus on Dynamics 365 CRM, data integration, security, and digital enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Architecture Leadership
- Own and evolve the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, sustainable, and aligned with enterprise architectural standards.
- Lead architectural direction across key workstreams, including CRM, integration, security, and cloud enablement.
Design Authority and Governance
- Contribute to and review artefacts submitted to the Technical Design Authority.
- Oversee both high-level and detailed designs, ensuring all decisions are documented and traceable.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Owners, System Analysts, and delivery teams to maintain architectural consistency across the programme.
- Translate strategic business requirements into actionable architectural outcomes and mediate between business and technical stakeholders.
Mentorship and Capability Building
- Provide mentorship to junior architects and development teams, fostering best practices in architectural thinking.
- Participate in Communities of Practice and contribute to the development and refinement of architecture standards.
Risk and Compliance Oversight
- Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies.
- Support compliance efforts, including data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and non-functional requirements (NFR) validation.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead and contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture and delivery processes.
Requirements
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise or solution architecture within complex transformation initiatives.
Technical Proficiency
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, integration technologies (OData, APIs), and data platforms.
Architecture Methodologies
- Familiarity with TOGAF or similar frameworks and a strong understanding of architectural governance processes.
Communication and Influence
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse technical and business teams.
Documentation and Decision-Making
- Proficient in producing architecture artefacts including high-level and low-level designs, decision logs, and roadmaps.
Leadership
- Proven ability to lead design discussions, influence architectural direction, and operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
