Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join a leading technology consulting team delivering secure, scalable and innovative digital solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transformation programmes, helping organisations modernise their technology landscape and deliver user-focused outcomes through cloud and hybrid architectures.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping technical strategy, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring solutions are designed to meet both business objectives and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and technical design of modern enterprise solutions
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and define appropriate technology approaches
• Set the architectural direction across projects, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements
• Develop solution blueprints covering software, integration, data, infrastructure and security considerations
• Support delivery teams through implementation planning, governance and execution
• Drive adoption of best practices, modern tools and emerging technologies across the architecture community
• Contribute to presales and business development activities, including solution shaping, estimation and proposal development
• Mentor and guide architects and engineers, supporting professional development and knowledge sharing
• Act as a people leader, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance

Experience and Skills

• 10+ years’ experience in solution delivery and architecture roles within fast-paced environments
• Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns and modelling methodologies
• Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred, AWS also considered)
• Knowledge of integration patterns including API-led connectivity and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience with Java or .NET ecosystems
• Strong understanding of data architecture, security best practices, operational resilience and disaster recovery
• Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are advantageous
• Experience with ERP systems, iPaaS or case management solutions is a plus
