Technical Program Manager - Daily Rate Contract

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Technical Program Manager for a 6 month daily rate contract initially with a view to extended.

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager with a strong background in infrastructure delivery within financial services or insurance. The role focuses on driving complex programmes covering cloud, networking, security, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale infrastructure programmes (cloud migration, data centres, networks, cybersecurity).
• Own the programme roadmap, governance, and reporting.
• Manage risks, budgets, vendors, and dependencies.
• Partner with C-suite and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and resilience standards.

Experience & Skills

• 10+ years delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure programmes.
• Proven track record in financial services or insurance.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, networking, security, and disaster recovery.
• Skilled in programme governance, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight.
• Comfortable with Agile/Waterfall delivery and programme tooling (Jira, MS Project, etc.).

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field preferred.
• Certifications: PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) desirable.
