Job Title: AI Practice Lead
Location: Leeds / Hybrid, 2x days per week
Salary: £80,000-£100,000 + benefits

Your Responsibilities:

  • Shape and scale the AI practice, defining delivery methodologies, service offerings, and engineering standards.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to AI engineers and internal teams, mentoring and developing technical talent.
  • Advise on internal AI platform strategy and client positioning.
  • Apply modern AI/ML approaches, including LLMs, agent architectures, and RAG techniques, in delivery and practice strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical capabilities into practical business impact.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Strong background in software engineering, architecture, or technical delivery.
  • Hands-on understanding of AI/ML ecosystems, LLMs, agent architectures, and modern AI approaches.
  • Experience leading AI or digital transformation engagements with delivery oversight.
  • Proven ability to lead client AI or digital transformation engagements, ideally within consultancy or professional services.
  • Ability to mentor and develop teams while embedding best-practice engineering standards.
  • Skilled at translating AI capability into commercial value and engaging effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Recognised thought leadership in AI/ML engineering.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
