Job Title: AI Strategy Consultant (Discovery)
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary: £90,000 - £115,000

As one of the founding hires in a brand-new London office, you'll lead client-embedded engagements from the first conversation to a working prototype and beyond, blending established agile delivery with hands-on AI discovery.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery end to end across a varied client portfolio, spanning conventional agile projects and newer AI-driven work
• Start by understanding the problem: watch how people really work and speak to everyone, from junior colleagues to C-level
• Judge when AI is the right answer, and when automation or another solution fits better
• Identify and prioritise opportunities by value, effort and risk
• Build the commercial case in numbers (time saved, errors cut, costs reduced, revenue gained) before work gets the green light
• Run quick prototypes and pilots, then make the call to keep, change or stop
• Test that the AI is good enough, set quality thresholds and keep a human in the loop=
• Fit solutions into real workflows so they get used, and plan the route beyond proof of concept
• Run stakeholder governance and senior client relationships at pace

Requirements

• Strong background as a Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager or Senior Project Manager, ideally within agile teams
• Experience of discovery, product thinking or client workshops, or real enthusiasm to build this side of the role
• Genuine day-to-day use of AI tools, and confidence demonstrating a working prototype to a client
• Enough technical depth to ask engineers the right questions and get involved in prototyping, without needing to build everything yourself
• Sharp commercial instinct and the ability to quantify value
• A resilient, high-agency mindset that thrives on ambiguity and challenges assumptions early
• Technology consultancy or professional services background preferred
