Location: London 2x a week

Contract: 3 months

Rate: Competitive market rate, Outside IR35

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ColdFusion Developer to join a leading global business that support major brands.

ColdFusion Developer Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise ColdFusion/CFML applications across customer-facing and internal platforms.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with new services and modern architecture components.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Support the migration and refactoring of legacy ColdFusion code to modern development standards.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, implement fixes, and ensure best practices in coding and testing.
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

ColdFusion Developer Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with ColdFusion/CFML (Adobe ColdFusion or Lucee).
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of REST API development, integrations, and modern application architecture.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) and front-end best practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
