Contract Delivery Manager - Platform Migration

• Contract: 6 Months (Initial)
• Location: Remote, candidates must be based in the UK
• Day Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a major platform migration programme, taking ownership of the planning, orchestration and execution of a complex technology transformation.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity and ensuring multiple teams move towards a common goal. You'll be responsible for coordinating engineering squads, business stakeholders and third-party partners while driving delivery across a large-scale migration.

Rather than a traditional Scrum Master position, we're looking for someone with a Business Analysis or Product background who has progressed into Delivery Management and is comfortable getting involved in the detail when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large-scale platform migration across multiple teams and business units.
• Develop and maintain migration runbooks, defining activities, dependencies and sequencing for successful implementation.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams alongside external delivery partners and suppliers.
• Manage delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are identified and addressed proactively.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable delivery plans.
• Facilitate collaboration across a diverse stakeholder landscape, aligning priorities and ensuring clear communication throughout the programme.
• Drive pragmatic decision making, removing blockers and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering complex platform migration or technology transformation programmes.
• Previous experience as a Delivery Manager with a hands-on approach to planning and execution.
• A background in Business Analysis or Product, with the ability to operate comfortably across both delivery and requirements.
• Experience creating migration runbooks, implementation plans or similar operational documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence engineering teams, business functions and third-party suppliers.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams and delivering against challenging timelines.
• A proactive, pragmatic mindset with the confidence to take ownership and drive outcomes.
