Full Stack Engineer

Outisde IR35 up to £525

Intial 4 month contract, high chance of extension

I am recruiting for multiple Full Stack Engineers to help our client build scalable, high-performance applications and contribute across both backend and frontend systems. This role involves working on modern production systems, building APIs and services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and user-focused products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build prototypes and evolve them into scalable, production-ready applications

  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs

  • Contribute to frontend development, building responsive and intuitive user interfaces

  • Design and implement data workflows and system integrations

  • Work with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on architecture, design decisions, and technical solutions

  • Support the development of media or data-driven features where required

  • Ensure code quality, testing, documentation, and peer review best practices

  • Contribute to system performance, reliability, and scalability

Skills & Experience

  • 4-6 years of experience in full stack software engineering

  • Strong experience building modern web applications

  • Experience developing backend services and APIs

  • Experience with JavaScript-based frontend frameworks or libraries

  • Solid understanding of web architecture, system design, and scalable applications

  • Experience working with databases and data systems

  • Familiarity with cloud environments and modern development workflows

  • Understanding of distributed systems or event-driven architectures

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative engineering teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with media-related applications such as video or audio features

  • Exposure to AI or machine learning integrations

  • Familiarity with modern system design patterns and scalable architectures

  • Experience working in fast-paced product or startup environments
