Cyber Security Consultant

Remote | Corsham HQ | UK client-site travel as required
£45,000-£80,000 depending on experience

We are looking for Cyber Security Consultants to join a growing specialist consultancy supporting Defence, Government, Critical National Infrastructure and other highly regulated environments.

This is a flexible opportunity for consultants from strong mid-level through to Principal level. You will work remotely, with travel to UK client sites when required, delivering practical cyber-security consultancy across assurance, governance, risk and secure technology delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering Security Assurance, accreditation and Secure by Design activity across complex client programmes.

• Producing and reviewing Security Cases, RMADS, security management plans, risk assessments and assurance evidence.

• Completing technical design reviews, security gap assessments and risk-based remediation activity.

• Supporting security governance, control assessment and continuous-assurance activity.

• Advising client stakeholders on security architecture, cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, networks and secure software delivery.

• Building trusted relationships with technical and senior stakeholders, with scope to support bids and mentor junior consultants as you develop.

What we're looking for

• Experience in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, GRC, accreditation, cyber risk or Secure by Design.

• Background within Defence, MOD, Government, National Security, CNI or another regulated environment.

• Strong knowledge of relevant frameworks, ideally including JSP 440, JSP 604, ISO 27001, NIST, CAF and Cyber Essentials.

• Confident written communication skills, able to produce clear, high-quality assurance documentation.

• Active SC clearance, or eligibility to obtain it. DV clearance would be advantageous.

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor or Chartered Cyber Security Professional status would be beneficial.
