The opportunity for a Head of Product to play a pivotal role in shaping the future product landscape of a major media company.
This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of product strategy, delivery, and organisational influence. You'll define the vision and roadmap for our owned and operated platforms, while acting as a strategic partner to senior and C-level stakeholders, bringing a consultative lens that connects internal priorities with external market dynamics.
You'll combine deep product expertise with outward-looking insight - ensuring our streaming experience remains competitive, distinctive, and aligned to evolving viewer behaviours and commercial opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Define and evolve the product strategy for our streaming platforms, aligning viewer needs, commercial performance, brand, and public service remit
- Set a clear product vision and long-term roadmap, supported by compelling executive storytelling and robust business cases
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions through insight, data, and market perspective
- Bring an external, consultative lens - leveraging competitor analysis, market trends, and emerging technologies to shape direction
- Own and deliver an outcome-based roadmap, ensuring measurable impact and alignment to long-term goals
- Partner with third-party vendors and influence global product roadmaps to represent our priorities and customer needs
- Champion a streaming-first mindset, embedding best-in-class product practices and ways of working across the organisation
- Establish clear prioritisation frameworks, grounded in data, experimentation, and user insight
- Lead product discovery and innovation, identifying new opportunities for growth, engagement, and differentiation
- Act as a thought partner to the Product Director, helping position our platform as a market leader

- Proven experience leading product strategy and delivery in digital, streaming, media, or technology environments
- Highly data-driven, with advanced understanding of product metrics, experimentation, and performance optimisation
- Strong commercial acumen, balancing user needs with revenue and business objectives
- Experience managing and influencing third-party vendors or technology partners
- Skilled in product storytelling, simplifying complexity for executive audiences
