IAM Engineer (Okta)

Location: UK Remote

My client, a leading software organisation, is looking for a hands-on IAM Engineer to support application onboarding, identity integration, and IAM platform engineering across a large enterprise environment.

The role is heavily focused on Okta engineering within a multi-tenant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and administer Okta across applications, groups, policies, federation, and MFA
• Lead onboarding of off-the-shelf SaaS and enterprise applications into the IAM ecosystem
• Implement and support SSO integrations using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth
• Build and maintain provisioning integrations including SCIM and API-based provisioning
• Support Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes and access automation
• Work within multi-tenant Okta environments including org-to-org integrations
• Support IAM automation initiatives using Okta Workflows and APIs
• Provide BAU support, troubleshooting, and platform enhancements across the IAM estate

Key Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience in IAM Engineering roles
• Strong Okta engineering and integration experience
• Experience working within multi-tenant Okta environments
• Strong understanding of SSO and federation technologies (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
• Experience with provisioning, lifecycle management, and application onboarding
• Exposure to Okta Workflows, automation, or API integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and IAM integration problem-solving capability
• Experience with SailPoint ISC / IdentityNow is highly desirable
• Exposure to PAM tooling such as Delinea, CyberArk, or similar is beneficial
