IT and Compliance Manager Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the internal IT estate across a user base of 100+ employees
  • Manage and support a mixed environment of Windows and MacOS devices
  • Lead IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory, and decommissioning
  • Maintain and improve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 42001 standards
  • Manage Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification processes
  • Collaborate with the Head of Technology to implement IT strategy aligned with business growth
  • Ensure robust security, compliance, and operational processes across the internal IT environment

IT and Compliance Manager Requirements

  • Proven experience managing internal IT for a growing technology or consultancy business
  • Strong knowledge of both Windows and Mac environments
  • Hands-on experience with asset management tools and IT procurement processes
  • In-depth understanding of ISO compliance frameworks and UK cybersecurity standards
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote-first setting
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organisational skills
  • Experience supporting a cloud-first workforce; exposure to AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms is a plus
