Job Brief

We are seeking a Lead .NET Engineer who can architect, design, and deliver robust, scalable software solutions across a range of client engagements. You will work as a senior member of a cross‑functional team, guiding technical direction, ensuring engineering best practice, and supporting end‑to‑end project delivery.

As a consultancy, our success comes from close, collaborative partnership with our customers. You'll be a confident communicator, a mentor to others, and a technical leader who can simplify complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead & Architect

• Lead technical design, solution architecture, and end‑to‑end delivery across client projects.
• Define and uphold engineering standards, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and future‑proof.
• Guide teams in modern architectural approaches (e.g., cloud-native, MACH principles).

Collaborate & Influence

• Work with stakeholders, product owners, and senior client teams to shape requirements and solutions.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.

Build & Deliver

• Write high‑quality, maintainable .NET code backed by strong testing strategies.
• Contribute to and review technical implementation plans, ensuring smooth delivery through the full SDLC.

Grow & Mentor

• Support and mentor engineers of varying experience levels, driving a culture of learning and excellence.
• Lead squads, projects, or product workstreams when required.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience in a Lead or Senior .NET/C# engineering role, with ownership of technical decisions and delivery.
• Strong background in designing and developing modern, cloud‑based architectures.
• Expertise in C#/.NET, plus capability in at least one additional backend language (Java, Golang, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with front‑end ecosystems such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Solid grounding in data design, handling, security, and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team‑leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for engineering best practice.
