Mid-level .NET Software Engineer - Newcastle (Hybrid) - up to circa £50k

Are you an experienced .NET Software Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a .NET Software Engineer to join a dynamic team in Newcastle who are embarking on a greenfield project that will completely change their technical direction.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and developing a new C#/.Net application from scratch alongside a talented team
• Helping to change the tech stack and architectural direction of the business
• Taking responsibility for specific functions of the software

What We're Looking For:

Essential experience:

• Proven experience in C# and .NET for back-end development
• Database expertise, PostGres is preferred but any database experience is fine
• Experience with Web APIs
• Experience of Microservices architecture

Other things you'll be upskilled on if needed:

• Use of GITLab and Jira
• Containerisation tools such as Docker
• Linux/Fedora/RedHat

You as an engineer:

• Ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• High coding standards
• 2+ years' commercial experience in a software engineering role
