Product Owner

We are seeking a commercially minded Product Owner to help shape the future of a market-leading SaaS platform used by thousands of professionals across the UK.

This is far more than a backlog management role. You'll take ownership of a scaling product, working closely with senior leadership to define priorities, drive delivery, and ensure product decisions create measurable business and customer value.

The Role

Reporting to the Product Director, you'll act as the bridge between product strategy and execution, translating business objectives into a clear, actionable roadmap while working closely with development teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Turn Strategy into Delivery

• Translate product vision and business objectives into a clear, commercially focused roadmap
• Own and prioritise the product backlog based on customer value, ROI and business impact
• Ensure development teams have the clarity and context needed to deliver effectively

Be the Voice of the Customer

• Gather and analyse feedback from customers, partners and internal stakeholders
• Lead discovery activities to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
• Balance customer needs, technical considerations and commercial objectives

Drive Product Excellence

• Create clear user stories and detailed acceptance criteria
• Lead backlog refinement and contribute to sprint planning activities
• Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and successful product releases
• Continuously improve product delivery processes and ways of working

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong product ownership skills with commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to delivery.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Owner within a SaaS environment
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on outcomes and measurable impact
• Experience working in growing businesses where priorities can evolve quickly
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent organisational, communication and prioritisation skills
• Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar

Desirable

• CSPO or equivalent Product Owner certification
• Experience working within healthcare, regulated industries or business-critical software environments
