Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 2/3 days per week onsite)
Initial Duration: 6 months initially
Start Date: Immediate, you must be available to start within 1-2 weeks

Fruition are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a key client on business and technology transformation programme.

The organisation is currently replacing a large legacy policy administration platform partnering with multiple technology suppliers. The programme is approaching a critical phase and requires an experienced Project Manager who can quickly take ownership, establish control and ensure all parties are ready to move into the next stage.

This is a fast paced delivery role requiring someone who can hit the ground running with minimal onboarding, bring structure and energy to the programme and confidently hold both internal teams and external suppliers to account.

The Role

You will coordinate across multiple suppliers and internal technology teams, ensuring dependencies are understood, actions are completed and any risks or issues are addressed quickly.

A key element of the role will be supplier management. You will need to be comfortable challenging established suppliers, having difficult conversations where required and maintaining positive working relationships while ensuring delivery expectations are met.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong Project Management or Delivery Management experience within large scale technology transformation programmes
• Demonstrable experience coordinating multiple technology suppliers and internal delivery teams
• Strong vendor and supplier management experience
• Proven ability to challenge suppliers constructively and hold them accountable for delivery
• Comfortable joining an established programme and taking ownership with limited handover
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Able to inject pace, structure and energy into a complex delivery environment
• Experience managing programme dependencies, risks, actions and readiness activities
• Comfortable operating within a fast moving and commercially important transformation programme

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience delivering policy administration system transformation or implementation programmes
• Insurance or financial services experience
• Experience working through complex discovery phases
• Previous experience supporting programmes through solution design, architecture and implementation planning
