Job Title: Project Manager - Retail Technology & Store Enhancements

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a major UK retail organisation delivering high-impact store enhancement projects across a nationwide estate of convenience and express locations. You'll play a key role in shaping how technology supports modern retail, working on initiatives that directly improve customer experience and in-store operations.

The role offers exposure to both physical infrastructure rollouts and software-led change, giving you a varied project portfolio within a fast-paced, large-scale environment. With a strong pipeline of work, there is a high likelihood of extension beyond the initial 6-month term.

Responsibilities

You will lead the end-to-end delivery of retail technology and store enhancement projects, ensuring successful implementation across multiple locations. This includes managing infrastructure and hardware rollouts alongside software deployments, coordinating internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver seamless outcomes.

You'll be responsible for planning and executing multiple concurrent workstreams, maintaining strong governance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. The role will require close engagement with stakeholders across the business, navigating complex organisational structures and driving alignment across technical and operational teams.

You will also contribute to programmes involving store upgrades, new customer features, and operational improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to live retail environments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within large, enterprise environments
  • Background in retail, grocery, or convenience environments (preferred)
  • Experience delivering infrastructure or hardware rollouts at scale
  • Exposure to software delivery alongside physical deployments
  • Strong stakeholder management across complex organisations
  • Experience coordinating internal teams and third-party vendors
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience delivering change and enhancement projects in live operational environments
  • Familiarity with SAP environments (beneficial)
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of background, identity or circumstance.
