Role: Project Support Officer / Project Co-ordinator
Rate: £350 - £400 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Initial Duration: 6 Months
Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office)
Fruition are working with a highly regarded organisation who are a leader in their field. My client are looking for a contract Project Support Officer who can support the project delivery team working across on a diverse range of projects. My client are looking for someone who is comfortable being the only or one of a small number of Project Support Officer supporting a project delivery team. To be suitable you will be available to start a new role by mid November and be within commuting distance of Leeds.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and support Steering Groups from coordinating pack through to capturing and tracking / updating actions
- Manage coordination of workstream status reports calling out any key themes and escalations
- Support tracking of the Plan, Dependencies and Assumptions including managing actions from weekly planning and workstream leads session
- Help coordinate the closing out of actions and challenges as they are raised through weekly in person planning sessions
- Support the coordination and reporting of risks and issues
- Support the development of Implementation Activity (Readiness, Go / No Go, Run Book, First Occurrence etc)
Required Skill and Experience
- Proven experience in a Project Support role
- Proven experience working as either the sole PSO or part of a small team of PSOs. You will be very comfortable taking the initiative and being self managed.
- Strong experience of project governance, plans and project coordination
- Excellent communicator with a track record of managing stakeholders at all levels.
