The Opportunity
Reporting into our Managing Consultant and working alongside some of our biggest billers, you'll take full 360 ownership of a recruitment desk focused on the US Advanced Engineering, Clean Tech, and Aerospace & Defence sectors.
From day one, you'll be working on live roles with some of the USA's biggest and most innovative clients, where we hold exclusive partnerships. These aren't transactional relationships; you'll be genuinely embedded in their businesses, helping shape hiring strategies and building long-term talent pipelines.
Alongside delivering for existing clients, you'll be building your own network, developing new business, and laying the foundations for a team around you. This is a platform to build a business within a business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running a full 360 desk covering business development, client management, and candidate delivery
- Working on exclusive briefs with some of the USA's most exciting and innovative Advanced Engineering businesses
- Acting as a genuine talent partner to clients; understanding their businesses deeply and helping shape their hiring
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates across the US market
- Headhunting and networking to identify top talent via LinkedIn, our database, and beyond
- Attending client meetings to strengthen partnerships and uncover new opportunities
- Writing and posting compelling job adverts to attract high-quality candidates
- Managing the full recruitment process from briefing through to offer and onboarding
- Keeping pace with market trends to position yourself as a trusted specialist in your vertical
- Leveraging our internal tech stack to maximise efficiency and output
What We're Looking For
- 1-4 years' experience in recruitment, ideally with exposure to the US market
- Proven track record running a 360 desk; you're as comfortable winning business as you are delivering
- Experience recruiting within Advanced Engineering, Clean Tech, Aerospace, Defence, or a related technical sector is highly desirable
- A genuine hunter mentality; you build relationships, spot opportunities, and back yourself
- Commercially sharp, self-motivated, and hungry to build something
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders on both sides of the Atlantic
