Job Title: Technical Solutions Architect - Contract

Location: Hybrid - Croydon (occasional site attendance, approximately monthly or quarterly)

Salary: Up to £650 per day, inside IR35 | 12-month contract

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture, technical design and design assurance, ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.

• Design data architectures, data models and integration patterns, including APIs.

• Shape operational dashboards, business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions.

• Collaborate with engineers, data specialists, analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.

• Produce architecture documentation, technical roadmaps and design artefacts.

• Support reporting solutions focused on KPIs, productivity, performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Active SC security clearance is essential.

• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect.

• Strong AWS experience, with knowledge of Kafka, security and networks.

• Experience in data architecture, data modelling, analytics, BI and operational reporting.

• Understanding of data governance, data quality and data lineage.

• Experience designing dashboards and management information solutions.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and architectural decision-making skills.

• Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or public sector experience would be advantageous.
