An excellent opportunity for an experienced SOX SME to join a major controls transformation programme within a cloud-first technology environment.
Working across technology, finance, and compliance teams, you'll support the redesign and automation of SOX controls, helping the business navigate significant system and process changes while maintaining a robust control framework.
Responsibilities:
- Provide SOX SME expertise across a large-scale controls transformation programme.
- Support the transition from manual to automated controls and system-driven monitoring.
- Assess and enhance ITGCs, application controls, access management, and change controls.
- Partner with engineering, product, finance, and compliance stakeholders to strengthen the control environment.
- Support AWS and cloud-based control design and implementation activities.
- Manage auditor engagement throughout control changes, remediation, and testing cycles.
- Produce and maintain SOX documentation including narratives, flowcharts, and RCMs.
Requirements:
- Extensive SOX experience within technology, SaaS, or other cloud-centric environments.
- Strong knowledge of ITGCs, application controls, access management, and change management.
- Experience implementing automated controls and technology-enabled monitoring solutions.
- Hands-on experience working within AWS environments.
- Proven track record managing auditors through control redesigns and technology change.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to operate independently.
