Job Title: Test Analyst - Live Poker
Location: Fully Remote
Day rate: Outside IR35
Duration: Until the end of the year - Strong chance of extension.

Non-negotiables

• Must have worked on live poker or have excellent understanding of the game. i.e. rules, gameplay, mechanics, etc.
• Must have strong experience testing mobile apps, ideally across both iOS and Android

This is a contract opportunity to work on the live poker product for a well-established name in the online gaming space, covering the actual live tables, real dealers, and real time gameplay. The team's approach is defect preventive and risk based, and the role suits someone who genuinely understands poker and wants to put that knowledge to work making sure what happens at the table is reflected accurately and consistently across mobile.

Responsibilities

• Test across the live poker product end to end, making sure gameplay at the table is mirrored correctly in the app
• Identify usability issues as well as straightforward defects, feeding findings back clearly to developers and product teams
• Design test scenarios and test cases from business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories, covering new and existing functionality
• Configure and maintain test environments, and execute agreed test suites, reporting results and progress accurately throughout
• Perform quality checks on digital graphics, animations, and interactive elements
• Verify bugs once fixes are committed, and provide sign off or remedial recommendations
• Use automation or AI assisted tools where they help speed up the QA process
• Work closely with designers, developers, and product, going beyond simple pass or fail thinking to advocate for quality on behalf of the player

Requirements

• Recent hands on experience testing live poker specifically, general live casino or wider iGaming experience won't be enough on its own
• Strong experience testing mobile apps, ideally across both iOS and Android, including HTML5 and JavaScript based mobile web
• Awareness of agile and scrum ways of working
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar test management tools is a plus
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
