Power Management Architect - SoC 

 

As the Power Manager SoC Architect, you will define the architecture of low-power SoCs, focusing on power management, clocking, and fabrics. This role is crucial for delivering the world’s lowest power electronic devices, enabling AI at the edge. You will collaborate with software, hardware, applications engineering, and field teams to align product requirements, design constraints, and performance targets.

 

Key Responsibilities for the Power Management Architect:

  • Develop architecture and microarchitecture specifications, including flow diagrams, power models, and pseudocode.
  • Support use case and test case development.
  • Define power delivery specifications and work with FPGA, software, and physical design teams to ensure optimal power management and implementation.
  • Debug issues using RTL and gate-level simulation.

 

Requirements for the Power Management Architect:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (MS or PhD preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in SoC architecture, with expertise in power management, clocking/reset architecture, and fabric/interconnect.
  • Great understanding of PMIC (power management integrated circuit)
  • Experience with ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, DSP architectures, and heterogeneous multi-core architectures is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across disciplines and geographies.
