About the Role:
This position involves managing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Projects and Substation Projects. The Project Manager is responsible for Project Safety, Scheduling, Budget Management, Contract Management, and Construction Quality. This role must be based out of Austin, TX, Houston, TX, or Chicago, IL offices and requires working in the office a minimum of three days per week. Relocation assistance will be considered for highly qualified candidates. The Project Manager will not be site-based but is expected to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall design of the project, coordinating external and internal engineering resources.
• Manage the project plan, host site kick-off in conjunction with the construction manager, and close out meetings for the project.
• Ensure EPC issues daily JHA’s and Plan of the Day.
• Ensure EPC is on schedule and assist with schedule recovery plans as needed.
• Manage design RFI’s coordination with internal and external engineering resources.
• Pro-actively engage landowners and ensure their expectations are met.
  
  Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Project Management processes including Budgeting, Contract Negotiations, Change Order Negotiations, and Scheduling including the use of scheduling software. PMP Certification is a plus.
• Versed in Construction safety (OSHA 30 training certificate is a plus).
• 5+ years of Construction experience, including on-site experience.
• 2+ years of Supervisory experience in a Construction leadership role.
• Valid driver’s license, eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverage.
• Ability to obtain a valid passport for travel outside the U.S.
